Indoor (Senior): Scored in two events for the Bobcats at the Big Sky Conference Championships … Claimed a silver medal for the second consecutive year in the heptathlon … Took fourth in the pole vault by clearing 15-11.75 (4.87m) … Also placed 10th in the long jump with a leap of 22-07.25 (6.89m) … Competed in six total meets … Took first in the pole vault in the Bobcat Preview (Dec. 6), MSU Indoor Open (Feb. 7) and the Big Sky Tuner (Feb. 21) … Named to the Big Sky Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams … Selected as a letterwinner by the coaching staff.
2018-19 Season
Indoor (Junior): Completed two all-conference performances at the Big Sky Conference Championships … Claimed a gold medal in the pole vault (16-02, 4.93m) … Also finished second in the heptathlon with 5,229 points, moving to fourth all-time in program history in the event … Made first appearance on all-time top 10 following effort at MSU Multis Meet … Had three first-place showings during the season … Moved to third all-time in program history in the pole vault by clearing 16-09.25 (5.11m) at the MSU Open (Jan. 11) … Ended season first on Big Sky performance list in the pole vault, second in the heptathlon and 11th in the long jump ... Named to Big Sky Winter All-Academic team.
Outdoor (Junior): Earned two all-conference efforts at the Big Sky Championships … Finished second in the decathlon and pole vault … Registered 7,132 points in the decathlon with event title coming down to final 1,500 race … Set personal bests in the 100 (11.52), long jump (23-03.50), high jump (6-03.50), 400 (52.21) and 1,500 (4:52.20) during decathlon competition … Point total was seventh best in program history and was 31st on West Region performance list … Earned silver in the pole vault at the Big Sky meet by clearing 16-05.50 … Height was 10th best in program history and 63rd in West Region … Earned first place in three events and second in one in MSU’s Cat-Griz Dual victory on April 27 … First-place showing in javelin boosted by lifetime best throw of 192-01 … Mark was 80th best in West Region … Also set personal-best mark in discus with throw of 132-04 at the Tom Gage Classic (May 3) … Competed in six total meets during season ... Indoor (Sophomore): Completed first season at Montana State with a podium appearance… Captured asilver medal at the Big Sky Indoor Championships in the pole vault by clearing 16-04.50 … Finished first in the event in four of seven meets he participated in … Set a personal-best mark as a Bobcat with a mark of 16-06.75 (5.05m) at the Bobcat Invitational on Feb. 2 … Clearance was the fifth highest in program history … Mark was tied for 84th best in the nation and was second on the Big Sky performance list.
Outdoor (Redshirt): Sat out season as redshirt.
Lane Community College: Competed for the Titans for one outdoor season ... Finished second at the Northwest Athletic Conference Championships in the decathlon with 6,635 points ... Also participated in open finals events ... Finished second in the pole vault, fifth in the javelin, sixth in the high jump and long jump, as well as eighth in the discus at the 2017 meet.
UC Santa Barbara: Completed one outdoor season for the Gauchos ... Earned an eighth-place finish at the Big West Conference Outdoor Championships as a freshman with 6,754 points ... Also finished fourth in the javelin and 16th in the long jump at the conference meet ... Also competed during summer at the USATF Junior National Championships.
High School: Graduated from Ashland High School in 2015 ... Multiple event qualifier to the OSAA 5A state championships several years ... Completed his senior year by finishing second in the long jump (21-04.50), third in the discus (163-11) and sevenths in the javelin (167-08) ...
