The Montana State women's tennis team will compete at the University of Wyoming Invite this weekend in Laramie. The Bobcats will face opponents from Wyoming and Northern Colorado.
"The Wyoming Invite was initially a four team format which unfortunately dropped to three teams," said MSU head coach Jon Reeves. MSU's Friday line-up is set and coaches will have the chance to change the line-up on Saturday and Sunday.
Laura Mary, Angelina Philippova, Emma Podeur, Annie Walker and Enni Zander will compete in the Gold Singles on Friday, while Sara Iverson and Sarah Cheverie will join the group in Brown Singles later in the day. Gold Singles will be played against Wyoming, with Brown Singles facing Big Sky foe UNC.
Doubles action will also be played throughout the weekend.
"We are simply looking to play as many matches as possible," Reeves said. "Our team has made big strides in our comfort levels since the Air Force tournament. The new players are settling into MSU and have begun to make the necessary adjustments to play in altitude. We are looking forward to a productive weekend of play."
The Bobcats will conclude their fall season at Gonzaga, Nov. 3-5.
