Rok Sitar captures singles win
Montana State dropped a Big Sky Conference men's tennis match to Sacramento State 6-1 on Saturday.
The only Bobcat win was Rok Sitar's 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles over Christopher Clayton. The Bobcats won only two games at the other five ladder positions combined, and dropped the doubles point.
The outcome was decided quickly. Sacramento State's Dom Miller (6-2, 6-1 over MSU's Mateus Ceolin at No. 5) and Donald Hall (6-3, 6-1 over MSU's Dylan Harvala at No. 6) put the Hornets up 3-0. Mikus Losberg's 6-3, 6-2 win over Kellen Bates at No. 1 sealed Sac State's win.
MSU falls to 1-7, 1-2 in Big Sky play. Sacramento State is 3-7 overall but 3-0 in the league.
