Bobcats Bounce Back to Finish Ninth at Hobble Creek

Montana State jumped five spots on the final day to finish the Hobble Creek Fall Classic in ninth place, concluding the 36-hole tournament with a team score of 614 (312-304). The third and final round of the tournament was rained out after the course became unplayable due to rain.
Jaylee Tait led MSU through the two rounds of competition, placing 17th overall and scoring 150 (74-76). Janelle Reali fired a team low of 73 on day two to bring her total score to 152 (79-73) and to move into 28th. Freshman Clare Dittemore shot a 154 to finish 45th, while Katie Greear and Natassja Meredith each shot 159 to place 62nd.
"I'm happy with our second round in the poor conditions," head coach Brittany Basye said. "They held it together and everyone contributed to the team scores. We need to work on our putting and chipping to convert more up and downs."
Montana State will compete at the Cougar Cup on September 21-22 in Pullman, Wash.
