Bobcats Bow Out of 2015 Big Sky Tennis Championships

Idaho tops Cats 4-1
Idaho swept the doubles point and never looked back, topping Montana State 4-1 in the semifinals of the 2015 Big Sky Conference Men's Tennis Championships at Sacramento on Saturday.
Sophomore Andre Napoliatano earned MSU's only win, beating Odon Barta in straight-set fashion (6-1, 6-2). It would be the Bobcats' only wins of the day, Idaho won at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 singles to clinch the match. The Vandals beat MSU 6-1 in Spokane earlier this season.
Napoliatano finishes the season with a 13-7 record. The native Brazilian won four of his last five singles matches, and 13 of his last 16.
The 2015 season concludes the careers of a pair of seniors who will be remembered for leaving outstanding legacies. Javier Martin-Morillas made his senior season his finest, finishing with a team-best 14-6 record, including a sterling 10-1 mark in Big Sky play. Niklas Brandes finished one of the finest careers in Bobcat history. The three-time First Team All-Big Sky choice (2015 selections come this week) was 11-9 overall, 8-3 in the league, in 2015.
