Montana State Tees off at Highlands Ranch GC Friday Morning

Montana State's women's golf team tees off at the 2015 Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Denver tomorrow morning at Highlands Ranch Golf Club in Highlands Ranch, Colo. The Bobcats are joined by a large pool of Division I opponents, including Big Sky Conference members North Dakota and Northern Colorado.
"I'm excited to get back to competition and get these ladies out competing," head coach Brittany Basye said. "We've have a good week and half of practice and really worked on the weaker areas of our games. They each have worked hard in areas they needed to improve and now it's time to go play some golf. This is a tough field here in Denver and we need to play our best, and have a good three rounds."
Jaylee Tait (So./Littleton, Colo.) will return to her home state of Colorado to play in the lead spot for MSU, after placing eighth at the Cougar Cup two weeks ago. Joining Tait is junior Janelle Reali, a 2015 All-Big Sky Conference honoree, Kati Greear, Haylee Folkvord and Natassja Meredith.
The Bobcats are coming off of an eighth place finish at the Cougar Cup, where the team tallied the program's first sub-900 three-round score.
The field consists of Arkansas Little-Rock, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Florida International, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Omaha, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado San Francisco, Santa Clara, South Florida, Tulsa, Washington State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
