Greear Shoots One under to Lead Bobcats in Colorado

ROUND 3 INDIVIDUAL RESULTS | ROUND 3 TEAM RESULTS
Kati Greear shot a 71 in the final round of the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo. to finish the tournament at eight over par and in 37th place. Greear chipped in for a birdie on her final hole to finish the round one under. The Bobcats finished 15th overall, shooting a three day total of 907, 43 over par.
"It wasn't the finish we were expecting for the final round," head coach Brittany Basye said. "Kati played well today, chipping in on her final hole to finish one under. We had too many doubles and not enough birdies to make up for it."
Janelle Reali shot a 79 to bring her total to 228 for a 63rd place finish. Haylee Folkvord and Jaylee Tait ended the weekend with matching 230's, placing 68th overall. Tait tallied her best round of the weekend on Saturday, tallying a 75. Tait shot a 77 today and Folkvord brought in an 80. Natassja placed 76th after shooting a final round of 79 to end the tournament with a 232.
"Overall, I saw some good things from each player this weekend. We are close to putting three rounds together from each player. We will review our stats and have a good and a half of practice to be ready to compete at Cal Poly."
Denver, the host school, won the tourament at two under par and a three day total of 862. Kassidy Teare of Long Beach State fired three scores under par, including a 68 on Saturday to win the tournament at eight under par.
The 'Cats close our their fall season at the Cal Poly Firestone Grill Women's Invite on October 24thj and 25th in Arroyo Grande, Calif.
