Bobcat Golfers Finish Fall with Strong Round

Jaylee Tait leads team on Sunday
Montana State closed its fall golf season with an 11th-place finish at the Ron Moore Invitational near Denver on Sunday.
Freshman Jaylee Tait posted her best tournament of the fall, firing a 78-77-75 for a final score of 230 to finish 26th. Janelle Reali also fired three rounds in the 70s (79-75-78/232) to finish 37th. Kati Greear (59th, 82-82-76/240), Haylee Folkvord (69th, 80-83-83/246) and Lauren Hausauer (72nd, 88-81-79/248) rounded out the Bobcat scoring.
Bobcat coach Brittany Basye was pleased with her team's final round of the fall season. "Everyone played better," she said of her team's Sunday play. "I'm glad we finished the fall strong. It's time to focus on academics and finish the semester strong, and at the same time identify where we need to improve and set our sights on the spring season."
