
Women's Golf Improves at Cowgirl Classic

Portland State retained the lead through all rounds, finishing seven above par with 871 (294-287-290). Portland State's Britney Yada took the overall individual title after defeating Carleigh Silvers of Northern Colorado on a scorecard playoff. Yada carded a 213 (71-70-72) finishing three under.
Paige Crawford and Leslie McGetrick completed the Classic as the Bobcats' top finishers, taking 50th. Both carded a 235 over three rounds of 18 (19 over).
Kelly O'Brien jumped nine places between Monday and Tuesday finishing in 72nd place with 240 (83-80-77). Molly Dorans also made huge improvements after day one after moving from 105th to 82nd (243; 86-84-73). Melissa Hulstrand took 98th after carding a 249 (86-82-81).
MSU will take two weeks off to make final preparations for the Big Sky Conference Championship being held Apri 18-20. They will return to Chandler to play at Ocotillo for the Conference title.
