After improving two places, Montana State Women's Golf closed out the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic on Tuesday with an overall team finish of 16^th place of 23 teams. MSU carded a combined 951 (323-322-306) over the two-day tournament at Ocotillo Golf Resort, a 6,814 yard, par 72 course. (Team Results | Individual Results)

Portland State retained the lead through all rounds, finishing seven above par with 871 (294-287-290). Portland State's Britney Yada took the overall individual title after defeating Carleigh Silvers of Northern Colorado on a scorecard playoff. Yada carded a 213 (71-70-72) finishing three under.

Paige Crawford and Leslie McGetrick completed the Classic as the Bobcats' top finishers, taking 50^th. Both carded a 235 over three rounds of 18 (19 over).

Kelly O'Brien jumped nine places between Monday and Tuesday finishing in 72^nd place with 240 (83-80-77). Molly Dorans also made huge improvements after day one after moving from 105^th to 82^nd (243; 86-84-73). Melissa Hulstrand took 98^th after carding a 249 (86-82-81).

MSU will take two weeks off to make final preparations for the Big Sky Conference Championship being held Apri 18-20. They will return to Chandler to play at Ocotillo for the Conference title.
