MSU Takes Fifth at Morehead State Invitational

The Bobcat Women's Golf team closed out the second day of play at the Morehead State Ocala Spring Invitational on Tuesday. MSU was not able to gain momentum on day two and remained in fifth place of five teams with a combined score of 643 (318-325). Invitation host Morehead State took home the team championship with a two-day score of 594 (286-308). (Results)
Morehead State's Emma Jonsson was the overall finisher when she carded a 146 (69-77).
Montana State was led by seventh place finisher Molly Dorans who completed two rounds with 152 (77-75). Kelly O'Brien, Monday's top Bobcat ended up in 27th place (161; 76-85).
Katie Michunovich (84-83) and Paige Crawford (85-82) tied for 27th with 167. Melissa Hulstrand finished 29th (168; 81-87).
MSU returns to the course on Sunday, April 3, for the Cowgirl Classic in Chandler, Ariz. hosted by Wyoming at Ocotillo Golf Course.
