Bobcat Netters Open Season in Boise

MSU's fall season kicked off in Boise, with ITA meet in Vegas up next
Montana State's men's tennis team opened its 2010 fall season at the Boise State Fall Classic last weekend, and head coach Mike Phillips liked what he saw.
“We had some individual success, but it was important just to get out and play,” Phillips said. “We have a lot of new players in the program, so it was important for us as a program to get away and compete.”
The doubles tandem of Diego Campos and Markus Schleuter, a pair of freshmen, provided the weekend highlight with a victory over a team from Utah State. In fact, MSU's 2010 roster features only two seniors - Pawel Turzanski and Fletcher Keyes - along with five players not in the program last season.
The Bobcats head to Las Vegas this week to compete in the ITA Championships.
