Trenton Greene begins his first season at Montana State in 2025 as the program's cornerbacks coach. Greene joins the Bobcats from Missouri Southern State, where he worked as the program's safeties coach in 2024. He previously spent 2023 as a defensive analyst at Arizona State and held the same role at Washington State in 2022. He was a quality control coach at Nevada in 2021 and was a defensive graduate assistant working with linebackers at Syracuse form 2017-19. Greene played at Bowling Green in 2012, and again in 2015-16, earning Second Team All-MAC honors at linebacker as a junior and senior and serving as team captain in 2016. His team-high 111 tackles in 2016 ranked fourth in the MAC and 28^th nationally. He had 8.5 tackles-for-loss and four sacks that season, and finished his career with 248 total tackles. He recorded 127 tackles in 2015, helping the Falcons to the MAC title. He earned first team all-state honors at Monsignor Edwards Pace High School in Miami as a senior, when he led Dade County in tackles, and was a two-time team captain. Originally from Miami Gardens, Florida, Greene graduated from Bowling Green in 2016 with a degree in Liberal Studies, and received his master's from Syracuse in Instructional Design, Development, and Implementation. Greene and MSU safeties coach/pass game coordinator Bryan Shepherd worked together at Syracuse in 2018-19.
