Montana State Battles Top Programs in Mountain Region
BOZEMAN, Mont. (Dec. 22, 2025) – Montana State faces a strong men's tennis schedule with a regional flavor next spring, Bobcats head coach Mateus Ceolin announced on Monday.
The Bobcats open with four matches away from Bozeman beginning with a January 17 contest against Marquette and on the next day against North Dakota, both in Grand Forks. The Cats also play traditional rivals Air Force and Denver before opening the home portion of the schedule against Whitworth (January 31) and Idaho State (February 1) in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.
The Cats then return to the road beginning on February 5 for eight straight matches. That slate includes national power BYU on February 5 and the Big Sky opener at Portland State on February 28. MSU's regular season schedule finishes with a flourish – a four-game homestand that includes perennial Big Sky championship contenders NAU (April 3), Weber State (April 5), Sacramento State (April 10), and the finale against Montana on April 18.
