Kelly's Performance History and Personal Bests
Summary: Decorated career at St. Olaf (Division III). Earned two All-America accolades in cross country, placing 13th in 2022 and 26th in 2023, and two more in track and field, finishing 14th in the indoor 5,000-meter run and fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 2024. He was also a four-time Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) champion in track and field, winning back-to-back titles in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 2023 and 2024 and sweeping the indoor 3,000-meter run and 5,000-meter run titles in 2024. In addition to his two All-America accolades on the track, Kelly placed 10th nationally in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as a junior in 2023.In addition to his four individual conference titles, Kelly claimed four other All-MIAC accolades and three Honorable Mention All-MIAC accolades in track and field. He was also the MIAC runner-up in cross country twice (2022, 2023) to give him 10 All-MIAC accolades to go with seven U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region accolades in his career. The Golf, Ill. native concluded his career as the school record-holder in the indoor 5,000-meter run (14:20.51) and 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:52.99), while ranking third in the indoor 3,000-meter run (8:13.07), third in the outdoor 5,000-meter run (14:15.81), and fourth on the eight-kilometer cross country list (24:17.6). He helped St. Olaf win MIAC team titles in cross country in 2022 and 2023 and post three consecutive top-20 national finishes from 2021-23.
