Background: Graduated from Portland Central Catholic in 2022 as the two-time Oregon 6A runner-up in the 100 meters ... Was high school teammates with fellow Montana State track freshman Stryder Todd-Fields ... Capped off his high school career with 6A OSAA State Titles in the 4x100 and the 4x400-meter relays ... Was also the 6A state runner up in the 100-meter dash ... Took ninth at the highly competitive Arcadia Invitational 100-meter dash ... Placed fourth in the 100 meters at the Oregon Relays as a senior ... Qualified for state for the first time as a freshman, where he placed sixth in the 200 meters and anchored Portland Central Catholic's 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays ... Also competed in club track for seven years: two years for the Inner Circle Track Club, one year with the Albina Roadrunners Club and three years with the Tigard Youth Track Club ... Anchored his club team's USATF Oregon Association Junior Olympic Title-winning 4x100 relay as a senior ... Placed sixth in the 200 meters and 15th in the 100 meters at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships as a freshman.
