Background: Graduated from Lynden High School in 2021 … Ended prep career breaking his school’s shot put and discus records … Became first new school record holder in the shot put since 1974 … Completed lifetime best marks as a senior in the shot put (58-08) and the discus (175-11) … Shot put mark ranked the best in the entire state in 2021 … His discus mark was the top distance at the Class AA level … Also had a season-high javelin throw of 164-01 that was fifth among AA athletes … Took first in 17 of 18 events appeared in during senior slate.
