2011: Outdoor- Won the shot put at the Montana Open with a distance of 13.78m … outdoor season and lifetime best throw of 14.28 came at the Cat-Griz Dual where he finished fourth. Indoor: Best indoor distance in the shot was 14.30m which came at the Bobcat Open.
Prior to MSU: A 2009 Graduate of Lambert High School … earned four letters each in track, football and basketball for the Lions … three-time All-State selection for football … started all four seasons in football … set school record in the Shot Put junior and senior seasons … as a junior, finished in fourth in the Shot Put … took sixth as a sophomore in the Shot Put … team captain for football as a junior and senior … team captain for basketball as a senior.
