Indoor (Freshman): Made first Big Sky Championship appearance for the Bobcats … Took 15th in the shot put with a mark of 49-04.25 … Completed season bests week prior at Big Sky Tuner in the shot put (50-09.25, 15.47m) and the weight throw (49-00.75, 14.95m) … Took 16th on Big Sky performance list in shot put … Competed in six meets over course of season … Placed as high as third individually in an event three times ... Named to Big Sky Winter All-Academic team.
Outdoor (Freshman): Appeared in three events at the Big Sky Conference Championships … Took 12th in the shot put (51-07.25), 18th in the hammer throw (156-11) and 21st in the discus (140-10) … Set lifetime bests at meet in the shot put and hammer throw … Personal-best mark of 146-09 in discus set while taking third place at Cat-Griz Dual (April 27) … Placed a season-high second in the hammer throw by going over 150 feet at the Tom Gage Classic (May 3) … Competed in seven meets during the season ... Named to Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team.
High School: Wrapped up his prep career at Kamiakin High School with a stellar senior season … Earned a bronze medal at the WIAA 3A State Championship Meet by taking third place in the shot put … Captured his first podium appearance at the state meet with a lifetime-best toss of 54-10.50 … Earned runner-up showings in both his conference and district championships in the shot put prior to the WIAA state meet … Claimed 12 first-place event finishing over the course of the 2018 season and had a personal-best mark of 155-08 in the discus as well … Advanced as far as the district championships during his junior campaign … That season he placed fifth in the discus and sixth in the shot put at the meet … Ended that year with 10 top-three finishes.
