Ashleigh Wilson Named Big Sky Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week

Wilson placed fourth at the Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate on Tuesday
FARMINGTON, Utah --- Bobcat women's golfer Ashleigh Wilson earned Big Sky Co-Women's Golfer of the Week honors following her fourth-place finish at the Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate in Litchfield Park, Ariz., on March 23-24, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Wilson earned her first career Big Sky weekly honor and the Bobcats' fourth of the season with her performance in Arizona. Norah Seidl was named Big Sky Co-Women's Golfer of the Week on Feb. 17 following her fourth-place finish at the Texas Golf Throwdown, Lauren Greeny earned Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 1 following her victory at the Diane Thomason Invitational, and Eva Heinz was honored by the conference on Sept. 17 after leading the Bobcats to a team victory behind her individual medalist performance at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate.
Wilson posted a 54-hole score of 6-under 207 to finish fourth at the Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate on Tuesday, tying the third-lowest individual score in program history. She carded rounds of 68-65-74 on the par-71 Wigwam Blue Course to guide Montana State to third place as a team with a score of 14-under 838, the second-lowest team score in program history and the program record on a par-71 course. Wilson's second-round score of 65 matched the third-lowest individual round in program history. With her fourth-place result, Wilson posted the second-best finish of her career while posting the Bobcats' lowest individual score for the second-straight tournament. Montana State earned its fifth top-three finish of the season with its third-place result in Arizona on Tuesday.
The Bobcats conclude their regular season on April 13-15, hosting the Bobcat Desert Classic at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz.
