Seidl earned her second top-five finish of the season at the Texas Golf Throwdown this week
FARMINGTON, Utah --- Bobcat women's golfer Norah Seidl earned Big Sky Co-Women's Golfer of the Week honors following her fourth-place finish at the Texas Golf Throwdown in The Woodlands, Texas, on Feb. 16-17, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
Seidl's award marks her first career Big Sky honor and the Bobcats' third of the season. Lauren Greeny earned the award on Oct. 1 following her victory at the Diane Thomason Invitational, and Eva Heinz was honored by the conference on Sept. 17 after leading the Bobcats to a team victory behind her individual medalist honor at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate.
Seidl earned her second top-five individual finish of the season at the Texas Golf Throwdown at The Woodlands Country Club on Tuesday, tying for fourth at 2-over 218 on the par-72 course. She carded rounds of 71, 74, and 73 during the two-day tournament, highlighted by a hole-in-one on hole No. 8 during her second round of play on Monday. Seidl has two top-five finishes and three top-10 results so far this season, and her 218 in Texas matches her second-lowest 54-hole score of the 2025-26 campaign.
Montana State will return to action at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Kaneohe, Hawaii, on March 16-18. The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course on Oahu.
