“Addison had a phenomenal game,” said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “This is a kid that we’ve been seeing do great things since last spring. And she accomplished everything tonight in just 21 minutes.”
Montana State sophomore Addison Harris recorded a career-high 27 points, connecting on 12-of-16 from the field, including a three-of-four effort from beyond the three-point line as the Bobcats opened its 2025-26 campaign with a 93-41 victory over Carroll College on Tuesday night in Worthington Arena.
Montana State (1-0) got out of the gates early, scoring the first six points and ultimately building its lead to 28-13 after the opening 10 minutes. Harris scored 11 points in the first quarter as seven different players put points on the board.
"Addison had a phenomenal game," said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. "This is a kid that we've been seeing do great things since last spring. And she accomplished everything tonight in just 21 minutes."
The Bobcats held a 52-21 advantage at intermission, shooting 51.1% from the floor. Along with Harris, teammate Taylee Chirrick recorded double digits with 12 points on five-of-11 shooting.

"Offensively, I thought we adjusted each quarter," Binford said. "We shared the ball a little better. We got the ball moving, and we started to see where we could get some scoring punch. This team is very deep. I love that this team is just ready to be whatever we need."
Montana State's second half was just as dominant as the first, shooting 56.3% from the field and owning a 17-2 cushion in points off turnovers.
For the game, the Bobcats forced 37 turnovers and had 20 steals. Freshman Jamison Philip led MSU with five steals.
"Our defense was a lot better from last week," Binford said.
The Bobcats held a 39-29 advantage under the boards. Freshman Kadynce Couture led MSU with a game-high nine rebounds.
Montana State plays at Portland on Friday at 7 p.m. (MT).
