“I’m proud of the turnovers we forced, but we need to do a better job capitalizing on the errors,” said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “We also need to clean up a lot of the risks we are taking.”
Four Montana State players scored in double figures led by sophomore forward Addison Harris, who poured in a game-high 18 points, as the Bobcats handled Bushnell University 88-37 in exhibition action, Thursday night in Worthington Arena.
The Montana State defense forced Bushnell into 44 turnovers. MSU recorded 31 steals in the contest, paced by Brooke Fatupaito and Ella Johnson with six, apiece.

MSU scored 41 points off turnovers.
The Bobcats ended the night shooting 38.7% from the field but went just five-of-33 from beyond the three-point arc.
Aside from Harris, also reaching double digits were Issy Bunyan 12, while Chirrick and freshman Brianne Bailey added 11 points each. Chirrick, the reigning Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year, pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds, including eight on the offensive end. She also dished out five assists and added three steals.
"I thought offensively, it was pretty jumbled throughout the game," Binford said. "I felt like we had a decent start again, but I'd like to see more of a spark to get us into the flow of the offense."
Montana State opens its regular season Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. against Carroll College in Worthington Arena.
