
Four Bobcats Named CSC Women's Basketball Academic All-District

Taylee Chirrick advances to national Academic All-America ballot
BOZEMAN, Mont. (March 24, 2026) – Four Bobcat women's basketball players earned CSC Academic All-District honors Tuesday, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Junior Ella Johnson and sophomores Taylee Chirrick, Teagan Erickson and Addison Harris joined the list of Division I women's basketball student-athletes who played in 90 percent of their team's games or started at least two-thirds of its contests while maintaining a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 out of 4.0. To be eligible, an athlete must be at least a sophomore in eligibility.
In addition to CSC Academic All-District honors, Chirrick is one of 96 student-athletes advancing to the national Academic All-America ballot. CSC membership, college sports communicators at colleges and universities across the U.S., vote on that honor.
Chirrick, a sophomore from Roberts, Mont., earned Big Sky Most Valuable Player honors, and became just the second women's basketball player in league history to win MVP and Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year honors in the same season. She is second in Division I with 4.24 steals per game, and is her 17.7 points per game is second in the Big Sky.
Johnson, a junior from Elk River, Minn., averages 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds a game, leading the Bobcats with 42 blocked shots. Erickson averages 5.8 points and 3.0 rebounds a game. Harris, a First Team All-Big Sky selection, is second on the team with 13.8 points and adds 4.0 rebounds per game.
CSC announces 2025-26 First, Second and Third Team Academic All-Americas on April 15, 2026.
