Chirrick, a product of Roberts, connected on eight-of-12 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers. She also pulled down four rebounds.
Montana State sophomore Taylee Chirrick scored a game-high 21 points to lead Bobcat Blue (current MSU players) past Bobcat Gold (men's scout team), 57-55, Wednesday night in Worthington Arena.
Chirrick, a product of Roberts, connected on eight-of-12 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers. She also pulled down four rebounds.
Bobcat Blue outscored Gold 19-11 in the fourth quarter, after trailing 35-29 at intermission.
The scrimmage featured four 8-minute quarters.
"I thought we finished strong," said MSU head coach Tricia Binford, who enters her 21st season with the Bobcats. "We also have a lot of things to work out. Credit to our scout guys for shooting the ball really well.
"We didn't have the ball pressure that is a staple of who we are," Binford added. "I thought our veteran kids really played like veterans. And some of our young kids came in and really gave us a nice boost."
Junior Issy Bunyan and sophomore Addison Harris chipped in seven points, apiece. Bunyan also added three assists and two steals. Freshman guard Jamison Philip finished with six points, three assists and three steals.
