MSU Men's Tennis Team Falls at BYU

Cougars sweep Bobcats
Brigham Young handed Montana State its first men's tennis match of the season Saturday, topping the Bobcats 7-0 in Provo.
The Cougars swept MSU without dropping a set, grabbing the doubles point with a pair of wins before securing each of the six singles matches. Dario Ciobotaru and Kanika Jayathilake fought to a 7-6 (7-3) match at No. 3 doubles, and at No. 1 Max Relic and Andras Necz trailed 6-5 when that match was left unfinished as BYU clinched the doubles point. Necz played Redd Owen to 7-5, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
The Cats fall to 4-1 on the campaign, while BYU is now 3-3. Montana State plays at Utah State on Sunday at 11 am.
