Andre Stewart Captures Singles Win at ITA West Regional Championships

All three Bobcats see action on opening day
Bobcat sophomore Andre Stewart split a pair of matches during Thursday's opening day of the ITA West Regional Men's Tennis Championships in Las Vegas on Thursday.
Stewart topped Axel Husmans 7-6 (4), 6-3 in the qualifying draw, then fell to David Duong of BYU 6-4, 1-6, 4-6. Ken Minh of Weber State defeated MSU's Harrison Janes 6-1, 7-5 in the other Bobcat singles match of the day. Janes and Dmitry Bezborodov fell to UNLV's team of Maksymchuk/Hernandez 2-8.
Action continues tomorrow at the UNLV campus.
