Danny Sprinkle's A Day for Hoop Coaches Clinic Schedule, Topics Announced

BOZEMAN, Mont. — The schedule of events and the guest speaker topics for Montana State men's basketball coach Danny Sprinkle's Day for Hoop Coaches clinic have been revealed, according to an announcement from Sprinkle on Monday.
The clinic, which will take place at Shroyer Gymnasium on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., features a myriad of accomplished guest speakers, including Sprinkle, Montana State University Ellen Kreighbaum Women's Head Basketball Coach Tricia Binford, former NBA player and collegiate head coach Larry Krystkowiak, and former NBA GM Dennis Lindsey. Signups for the event is still open to basketball coaches of all levels.
A Day For Hoop Coaches begins on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. in Shroyer Gymnasium, which is adjacent to Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the MSU campus. The Montana State men's basketball team will have an open practice for the coaches at 10:30 a.m., followed by a question and answer session with Sprinkle.
From there, the guest speakers will give their lectures. A schedule of the guest speakers and their topics is as follows:
1 p.m. — Dennis Lindsey: "Avoiding Traps When Building Your Basketball Value, Culture and Standards"
2 p.m. — Tricia Binford: "Attack-Minded Defensive Philosophy and Drills"
3 p.m. — Larry Krystkowiak: "Planning for a Successful Practice and Incorporating Useful Drills Into Practice"
The event will conclude with another Q&A panel with all of the speakers at 4:15 p.m., followed by a coaches' social.
