Award honors players with outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State senior Jed Miller was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team for the 2025-26 season, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-District team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. All-District honorees must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have played in 90% of their team's contests or started in 66% of their team's games during the 2025-26 season. Miller's honor marks the second of his career after earning All-District honors following the 2024-25 season. He was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist, with First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees set to be announced on April 14.
One of just two Bobcats to appear in and start all 32 games this season, Miller led Montana State in points (14.9), rebounds (5.7), assists (2.9), steals (1.6), and minutes (34.5) per game en route to a unanimous First-Team All-Big Sky selection. He scored in double figures 26 times, including tallying seven 20-point performances and two double-doubles. Miller was named Big Sky Player of the Week after averaging 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assists across the final three games of the regular season, leading the Bobcats to a trio of wins over Portland State (Feb. 26), Sacramento State (Feb. 28), and Northern Arizona (March 2). He scored a career-high 27 points in Montana State's 91-88 win over Weber State on Jan. 24 and posted his two double-doubles against Montana (11 points, 11 rebounds) on Jan. 17 and at Sacramento State (25 points, 11 rebounds) on Jan. 29. Miller concluded the 2025-26 season ranked 35th in Division I basketball in three-point percentage (40.6%) and second in the Big Sky in steals (50) while tallying the fifth-most three-pointers in a single season in Montana State history (89). He led the Bobcats in steals per game in each of the last two seasons. A two-time Big Sky All-Academic Team selection, Miller holds a 3.83 cumulative GPA while majoring in Business Marketing at Montana State.
