Four Bobcats Receive All-Conference Honors from Big Sky

Jed Miller, Patrick McMahon, Christian King, and Jeremiah Davis all honored following impressive regular-season campaign
FARMINGTON, Utah – The Montana State men's basketball team earned four All-Big Sky honors following a strong regular-season campaign. Jed Miller was named First Team All-Conference in a unanimous vote by the league coaches, Patrick McMahon was tabbed Second Team All-Big Sky, Christian King earned Honorable Mention honors, and Jeremiah Davis earned an All-Defensive Team selection, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
All four players earned all-conference accolades for the first time with their selections. The Bobcat quartet started a combined 100 games during the regular season and led Montana State to an 18-13 record, including a 12-6 record in league play, to clinch the second-best conference record among league teams this year.
Miller earned unanimous First Team All-Big Sky honors following a breakout senior season for the Bobcats. The Agoura Hills, Calif., native started in all 31 regular-season games and leads the Cats in points (14.8), rebounds (5.7), assists (2.9), steals (1.6), and minutes (34.4) per game this season. During the 2025-26 regular season, Miller scored in double figures 25 times with seven 20-point games and two double-doubles, highlighted by a career-high 27 points in the Bobcats' 91-88 home win over Weber State on Jan. 24. He ranks 31st in the NCAA this season in three-point percentage with a 41.0% clip and was recently named Big Sky Player of the Week on March 3 following a trio of impressive performances to close the regular season.
McMahon secured Second Team All-Big Sky honors after averaging 13.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 28 regular-season games, ranking second among Bobcat players in each category. The redshirt senior posted the highest-scoring game by a Bobcat since 2021 with a 35-point outburst at Idaho State on Feb. 21, marking one of his six 20-point performances this season. McMahon has scored in double figures 21 times this season and was named Big Sky Co-Player of the Week on Dec. 23 after scoring 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting at Cal Poly on Dec. 16.
King earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky honors after serving as one of the Bobcats' most reliable scorers during his first season in Bozeman. In 27 regular-season games, the Kirkland, Wash., native scored in double figures 19 times while averaging 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest. He ranks third of the team with 26 steals this season and tallied a career-high 27 points against Eastern Washington on Jan. 8 in one of his three 20-point outings this season. He posted his first career double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds in the Bobcats' 82-71 win at Montana on Feb. 14.
Davis was named to the Big Sky All-Defensive Team thanks to his 41 steals and nine blocks in 30 games played this season. The Compton, Calif., native ranks fifth in the Big Sky in total steals and sixth in steals per game (1.4) and holds an overall stat line of 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per contest. Offensively, Davis leads all Bobcat guards with a 49.5% field-goal percentage and has 12 double-digit scoring performances, including one double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds vs. Northwest; Dec. 22), to his name this season.
Montana State opens its Big Sky Championship campaign in the second round of the conference tournament in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday, facing the winner of Saturday's game between No. 7 Idaho and No. 8 Sacramento State. Sunday's game from Idaho Central Arena tips off at 8 p.m. MT and will air live on Scripps Sports/ESPN+.
