Big Sky Preview Serves as MSU Track & Field Finale Ahead of Conference Meet

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State track and field program is slated to host its final meet of its regular season indoor schedule Friday when the Big Sky Preview kicks off in Worthington Arena. The first event of the meet is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
The Bobcats serve as host to Montana and Weber State in a three-team dual scoring meet inside their home confines. A variety of athletes will participate for Montana State as they try to lock down positions as part of the men's and women's teams final 26-athlete rosters, respectively, for the 2022 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The conference meet, which will be held in Bozeman, takes place in two weeks with the opening events beginning on Feb. 24.
Field events get competition started at the Big Sky Preview this Friday at 3:30 p.m. The first track event begins at 4:15 p.m. Not competing in the Big Sky Preview but traveling to the Husky Classic in Seattle to compete are Duncan Hamilton and Ben Perrin. Hamilton will be running in the 3,000 and Perrin in the 5,000.
Friday's Big Sky Preview will be streamed on msubobcats.com. Heat and flight sheets can be found along with live results on AthleticLive. Attendance at the Big Sky Preview is free to the public, but admission will be required for the individual events at the upcoming Big Sky Conference Championships.
