Bobcats Through Day One of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational

The Bobcats have two players in the top 50 after the first two rounds of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.

TACOMA, Washington — The Montana State women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Pat Lessor Harbottle Invitational, held at the par-72, 6,020 yard Tacoma Country and Golf Club course.

So far, the team is in 17th place with a 29-over-605 through two rounds. Gonzaga and Weber State are tied for the best team score with a 4-over-580.

Freshman Lauren Greeny is leading the Bobcats with a 3-over-147 that is tied for 20th place out of 113 players. Redshirt sophomore Scarlet Weidig Velazquez made a big push in round two to tie for 45th with a 6-over-150. Weidig Velazquez led the team with seven birdies through the first two rounds. She would finish round two with a 1-under-71.

Kameryn Basye (T-73rd), Maddie Montoya (T-89) and Jordan Briggs (T-96) round out the Bobcat scorers, while Cora Rosanova is in a tie for 112th place while playing as an individual.

The final round of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. MT.
