Bobcat Men's Tennis Team Falls at Northern Arizona

MSU heads to Southern Utah for Sunday Afternoon Matchup
Northern Arizona dropped only two sets in handing Montana State a 7-0 men's tennis defeat in Flagstaff on Saturday.
After claiming the doubles point with wins at the second and third ladder spots, the Lumberjacks moved into second place in the Big Sky standings by sweeping singles play. Wins by Lucas Taylor over Rok Sitar at No. 2 (6-1, 6-2), by Ruben Montano over Kasper Parlklo at No. 3 (6-2, 6-4) and by Harun Ajanovic over Max Petrak at No. 6 (6-4, 6-2) clinched NAU's win.
"We ran into a very good team that's play excellent tennis right now," said Bobcat coach Jared Burnham. "We have a pretty quick turnaround to get this one out of our system and get onto Sunday's match."
The Cats, now 4-9 on the season and 3-2 in Big Sky play, and battle Southern Utah on Sunday afternoon in Cedar City. Northern Arizona is 9-10 overall but 7-2 in Big Sy play, trailing only 6-0 Idaho in the league standings.
