Montana State Hosts Carroll College in Annual Bobcat School Day Tilt

The Montana State women’s basketball team will tipoff its season hosting Carroll College on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. in Worthington Arena. The game is MSU’s annual Bobcat School Day event and a sellout crowd of 6,775 is expected.

NEXT UP: The Montana State women's basketball team will tipoff its season hosting Carroll College on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. in Worthington Arena. The game is MSU's annual Bobcat School Day event and a sellout crowd of 6,775 is expected. Last season, the first ever Bobcat School Day saw Montana State defeat Wyoming 50-46 in front of 6,012 spectators.

ON A SERIES NOTE: Montana State and Carroll College will be meeting for the 14th times. The Bobcats hold a 13-0 advantage in the all-time series dating back to the first game on Dec. 10, 1981. The last meeting between the two squads came on Dec. 2, 2016 as MSU defeated the Saints 75-44.

CAT OPENERS: Montana State is 26-17 all-time in season-openers. Under the direction of 14th-year head coach Tricia Binford, MSU is 7-6 overall in season-openers. The Bobcats' last season-opening win came on Nov. 13, 2015 when they defeated Seattle 80-51 in the Emerald City.

LAST SEASON: Montana State went 16-15 overall and 9-9 in Big Sky play.
