Elliott Leads Bobcats Through Day One at Harbottle Invite

Montana State completed the first two rounds of play in Tacoma Monday
TACOMA, Wash. – Junior Delaney Elliott is in the top half of the individual standings as she and the Montana State golf team completed day one at the Pat Lessor Harbottle Invitational on Monday, Oct. 15, at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
Elliott fired a 4-over-par 76 during the first 18 holes of action and followed her opening round by shooting an 80 in the second round. She's tied for 46th at 156 strokes through 36 holes.
Freshman Sofia Rodriguez Todd carded scores of 81 and 77 to sit second in the Bobcat lineup. She's tied for 52nd at 14-over 158.
Juniors Coral Schulz and Kelly Hooper figured into both of MSU's scoring rounds on Monday. Schulz shot a 160 (76-84) and Hooper fired a 161 (77-84) as the two Bobcats are tied for 62nd and 67th, respectively.
Freshman Hailey Oster closed out the day with back-to-back rounds of 91 and 85 for a 176.
Montana State is in 16th place in the team standings with a two-day total of 635 strokes (310-325). Grand Canyon and Houston Baptist are tied atop the leaderboard with team scores of 597.
The Bobcats return to play for the final round of the Harbottle Invitational on Tuesday when they tee off at a 9 a.m. MST.
