MSU earns clean sweep

Montana State earned a clean sweep over Southern Utah Saturday, beating the Thunderbirds 4-0 without losing a set in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.

MSU dominated the doubles competition to take that point, then Rok Sitar got things rolling with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. Kellen Bates (6-4l 6-1) and Adrian Torrico (6-3, 6-2) won in similar fashion to seal the Bobcat win.

"I thought the guys played well today, and consistently," said MSU coach Jared Burnham. "We played well in doubles and carried that right over into singles."

The Bobcats remain at home Sunday to face Northern Arizona, who beat Montana on Saturday.
