Montana State’s Hausauer Named Golf All-American Scholar

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars have been announced with a total of 828 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars have been announced with a total of 828 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative grade-point average is 3.50 and a student-athlete must have competed in half of the team's competitions, as well.
Montana State senior Lauren Hausauer garnered the award for the Bobcats. The Bozeman product, who is majoring in elementary education with a minor in Spanish, has posted an impressive 4.00 gpa.
"This is a great honor for Lauren," said MSU golf coach Brittany Basye. "She's worked hard and deserves this award."
Last month, Hausauer was named the Big Sky Conference/Montana State Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.
