Jaylee Tait Leads Bobcats in First Round at Hobble Creek

Jaylee Tait shot three over par to post a 74 in the opening round at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic in Springville, Utah today.

Tait sits tied for 14th, while the team is in 13th place after shooting a team total of 312. "We left a lot of shots out there and need to get them back," head coach Brittany Basye said on the day. "We are playing better in the second round, but need to hold our focus and finish strong. The weather is supposed to be tough, but everyone is playing in it so we need to play smart and stick to our plans."

Janelle Reali and Natassja Meredith posted a pair of 79's, tying the 54th place spot and Kati Greear and Clare Dittemore recorded 80's.

With four holes to play, the second round was suspended due to weather and will resume at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. The final round will begin upon the conclusion of round two.
