Bobcats Fall to 13th After Two Rounds of Play

Montana State women's golf dropped to the 13th spot at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate yesterday in Highlands Ranch, Colo. The 'Cats shot a 303 to bring the team total to 601. Janelle Reali fired a 74 to bring her two day total to 149, siting in 39th place.
"We all need to bring it today, keep our attitudes positive and play smart," head coach Brittany Basye said. "We need to keep making our birdies and stop making doubles. I'm looking forward to seeing them play and finish the tournament strong."
Haylee Folkvord recorded another 75 to move up seven spots into 45th place and Kati Greear shot a matching score to bring her two day total to 150. Greear joins Natassja Meredith and Jaylee Tait in 63rd place. Tait shaved three strokes off of her first day score, shooting a 75 and Meredith and Greear brought in a pair of 79's.
Washington State jumped into the lead, shooting even par for the day and three under after the first two rounds (573). Big Sky Conference member Northern Colorado is in eighth place with a 593 total and North Dakota is in 17th with a 620. Stina Resen of Little Rock leads the field after shooting two under par on Saturday for an eight under total of 136.
The final round of the tournament begins with a shotgunstart today at 9:00 a.m. Montana State is paired with South Florida and FIU.
