Bobcats Host Black Hills State in Gold Rush Game

MSU battles regional foe for first time
Gold Rush fever is at hand for Bobcat fans, as Montana State makes its anticipated home debut Saturday, hosting Black Hills State. The annual Gold Rush game kicks off at 7:05 pm in Bobcat Stadium. The Bobcats face a first-time foe in BHSU, having never met the Yellow Jackets on the gridiron. Head coach John Reiners played and coached at Chadron State, and was an assistant in 2006 when the Eagles won at MSU. Reiners' two Yellow Jackets teams have compiled a 7-15 record, but this year's veteran team features 20 seniors. The Bobcats look to bounce back after a season-opening loss at Arkansas State that featured a solid debut performance by quarterback Dakota Prukop (14-for-26, 142 yards).
