Montana State (This Year) Elected team captain by teammates after spring drills... MSU’s returning starter as the inside receiver... also projected as the team’s holder on placements... operated as the quarterback in triple-option sets in the spring. (2014) Started all 13 games as the slot receiver, leading the team with 45 catches and 445 yards... caught multiple passes in each game... season-high 65 receiving yards at Cal Poly... career-high six catches in opener, five more against Black Hills State and at Sacramento State... also returned seven punts (31 yards) and five kickoffs (150 yards). (2013) Played in all 12 games as MSU’s holder on placements after Tanner Roderick was injured… a reserve receiver, recorded no statistics. (2012) Transferred to MSU from Air Force and redshirted.
Air Force (2011) Redshirted, but made the varsity roster and traveled to the Military Bowl.
Air Force Prep Led Air Force Prep to an 8-3 record, the school’s best season in 15 years, as its starting quarterback in 2010.
High School Capped a legendary career at Heritage HS in Littleton, Colo. as a finalist for the Fred Steinmark, Gold Helmet and Denver Athletic Club/Denver Post Colorado High School Athlete of the Year awards… as a senior in 2009, earned Class 4A All-State and All-Colorado honors, along with Colorado 4A Player of the Year, West Metro Offensive Player of the Year, West Metro First Team All-Conference honors as a quarterback, defensive back and return specialist… MVP of state title game… Denver Post/Denver Athletic Club/9News Athlete of the Week… unanimous CHSCA All-Star Game selection… USA Today National Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year for Colorado… as a junior, earned Rocky Mountain News All-Colorado and First Team All-State honors, West Metro All-Conference Special Teams Player of the Year, West Metro First Team All-Conference on offense and defense, and one of 50 USA Today National Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year.honorees… as a sophomore, was All-Rocky Mountain News Second Team All-State Athlete and all-league quarterback… over 8,000 total offense yards and 3,000 all-purpose yards at Heritage, accounting for 115 career touchdowns rush, pass or return touchdowns… his 271 career tackles was fifth in Heritage history… averaged 20.5 yards per punt return with four touchdowns… completed 70% of his passes as a senior, throwing for 2,150 yards and 35 touchdowns with 1,300 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns that season… holds 18 school records and climbed onto 13 CHSAA record lists… also played baseball and basketball at Heritage.
Academics A health and human performance major… National Honor Society member and four-year honor roll student at Heritage HS.
