MSU Golf heads to Boise for second tournament of the seasons
The Montana State Women's Golf Team returns to action today when they compete at the Bronco Fall Invitational hosted by Boise State. MSU, along with the tournament host, will face off with Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Santa Clara and Utah Valley. Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Portland State and Weber State representing the Big Sky Conference, will also compete.
The two-day tournament, taking place in Kuna, Idaho at Falcon Crest Golf Club, a par-72, 6,158 yard course. This is the first time in five years Boise State has hosted the Bronco Fall Invite and Montana State did compete back in 2008, the last time it took place.
MSU has rostered Paige Crawford, Kati Greear, Lauren Hausauer, Janelle Reali and Pamela Calderon Rojas. Haylee Folkvord and Bergen Buck will compete as individuals.
"With the except of Kati (Greear), we haven't played this course before," said head coach Brittany Basye. "This is a tough course so we'll need to really dial in on short games and ball position. We've had a few days to regroup and work on specific areas. We're excited to just get back out there and compete and keep improving."
Monday's round begins at 8:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. start for the final round on Tuesday.
