Calderon Rojas Named WGCA All-American Scholar

Architecture major earns national academic honors
The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announce the All-American Scholars for the 2012-13 academic year and one of Montana State's own received the impressive recognition. The WGCA announced 664 student-athletes receiving this prestigious honor among all three NCAA divisions. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar team are said to be some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Pameral Calderon Rojas earns this award after garnering a 3.60 GPA while majoring in Architecture. Calderon Rojas tied for 53rd at the Big Sky Championship in Chandler Ariz. back in April. She carded a combined 260 over three rounds at Ocotillo Golf Course at her first Big Sky Championship Tournament.
Calderon Rojas was also a Big Sky Conference All-Academic selection for 2013, as well.
