Crawford Earns All-Big Sky Conference Honors

Awarded automatic first team
Montana State's Paige Crawford earned All-Conference first team honors as the Big Sky Conference released the women's golf postseason awards earlier today. Crawford was awarded an automatic spot on the first team after winning the championships last week in Chandler, Ariz.
“This is a great award for Paige,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “Her awesome play at the championships earned her this award. I am very excited for her.”
Crawford, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colo. Led the Bobcats with four top-ten finishes, including the medalist honors at the Big Sky Championship where she finished with a tournament record eight-under-par 208. In the final round, she tied the single round tournament record with a score of 67.
The ratings on Golfstat was used to determine the All-Conference team. Crawford averaged 77.14 strokes per round this season and has a ranking of 462.
Portland State's A Ram Choir won the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Year award, while Northern Arizona's Savanna Bezdicek was named the Freshman of the Year. The first team also consisted of three-time selection Stephanie Kim of Northern Arizona, Kelsey Chugg of Weber State, Carleigh Silvers of Northern Colorado and Sadie Palmer from Southern Utah.
The second team members are Kaitlen Parson of Northern Arizona, Portland State's Britney Yada, Amanda Snyder of Weber State and Montana's Tara Green and Olivia Weber.
