Darkness Postpones Second Round to Tomorrow
The first and second rounds of golf were scheduled to be played today at the Primm Valley Golf Club in Primm, Nev. but after a delay in the opening round and darkness later in the day, the second round will be completed on Tuesday.(Round One Results).
MSU was paced by Molly Dorans over the first 18 holes. She posted a score of 78 to sit in a tie for tenth. Paige Crawford is tied for 30th after her first round score of 81 as Pamela Calderon Rojas and Lauren Hausauer sit in 50th with scores of 85. Kelly O'Brien's score of 89 places her in a tie for 60th after the first round.
Houston Baptist has the team lead with a score of 306 with Oakland and Arkansas State finishing out the top three with scores of 312 and 313, respectively. The Bobcat team score is 331. North Dakota State's Amy Anderson is the individual leader with a score of 70 after the first round. Alanna Gerber of Oakland and Rachel Mulkey of Houston Baptist are tied for 2nd with 73.
Second round play was halted with three holes to play because of darkness and will be completed before the scheduled final 18 holes on Tuesday. Second round results will be available when completed.
