MSU rolls through singles without losing a game
Niklas Brandes swept through No. 1 singles without dropping a game, leading Montana State to a dominating 7-0 win over Southern Utah in men's tennis Sunday at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Complex in Bozeman.
The Bobcats didn't drop a set in singles play, and allowed the Thunderbirds to win only three games in doubles play in completing the sweep. Diego Campos also swept through his singles match without surrendering a game, while Javier Martin-Morillas allowed just one.
"The guys played very well this weekend," said MSU coach Jared Burhnam. "They competed hard, and it's good to get another league win."
Montana State raised its record to 5-4 overall and 3-0 in Big Sky play with the victory.
