Bobcats will to rebound in final round of fall season
Individually, Taylor Yoshitake of Cal Poly and Clariss Guce are tied for first at 143 (-1). Guce shot a 69 in the opening round.
For MSU, Paige Crawford was the teams highest finisher, as she has been all fall, sitting in 48th after jumping 11 spots from her opening 18. Combined through 36 holes, she carded a 157 (80-77). Her score of 77 was the team low on the day.
Katie Greear sits in 68th with 160 (79-81) followed by Janelle Reali in 84th with 164 (78-86). Reali, in her freshman season was the Bobcats' top finisher after the first round. Lauren Hausauer carded a 166 (85-81) for 89th place while Pamela Calderon Rojas rounded the Blue and Gold in 105th with 173 (89-84).
"We are focusing on staying positive," said head coach Brittany Basye. "We're reinforcing what is going well for us and moving past any bad shots that may fall. We'll hit the course again tomorrow and try to end things on a strong note."
Montana State will close out the fall season on Sunday, with a final 18 holes at the Classic Club, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (MDT).
