Bobcats Kick Off Day One of Big Sky Tournament in Sixth Place

Dorans leading MSU with 13th place opening 18 finish.
Bobcat Women's Golf opened up the first round of the Big Sky Championship on Sunday. Montana State currently sits in sixth place, of nine teams, following the first 18 holes with a combined score of 311 (+23). (Complete Day One Results)
Northern Colorado is the day one leader with 290 (+2).
Kelsey Chugg of Weber State leads all golfers after carding a 70 (-2).
Molly Dorans leads all Bobcats, in a 13th place tie. Dorans, sits three above par with 75.
“Today was a bit tough for the opening day,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “Molly played well, with her lowest round of the season. The team knows what they need to do, especially with smart course management. Everyone is feeling positive and ready for a stronger second round.”
