Lauren Hausauer commits to Montana State
Montana State Women's Golf announced the signing of Lauren Hausauer to a National Letter of Intent to continue her golf and academic career with the Bobcats.
Hausauer won't have to travel far for her collegiate experience, as she is a hometown product of Bozeman High School. She is a four-year letter-winner for the Hawks and brings an impressive resume, both athletically and academically, to Montana State.
She was a four-time All-Class AA selection after placing among the top-10 in Montana each season and was team captain her senior season. The Hawks took the state title her sophomore and senior seasons. Also during those two years, she was named the team MVP. Most notably, she was the runner-up at the 2011 Class AA State Championship. She never placed lower than second this past fall.
Off the course, Hausauer is a member of the National Honor Society and was a four-time All-Academic selection for the state of Montana. She boasts a very impressive 4.0 grade point average.
“Lauren is a local golf standout and we are thrilled to have her join the Bobcat team,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “She will be a great addition to the program and I expect great things from her in the fall.”
