Golfers Drop One Spot at Cowgirl Classic

With one round to go, MSU sits in 19th overall at Ocotillo Golf Resort
Montana State Women's Golf dropped one spot to 19th after two rounds of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The three day invitational is being held at Ocotillo Golf Resort, a 6,184 yard, par-72 course in Chandler, Ariz. (Individual Results | Team Results)
Kelly O'Brien was, again, the top finisher for the Bobcats, in a tie for 57th place. She carded a second round score of 80 to put her at 155 overall (75-80).
Kristi Cardwell of Iowa remains in the lead after day two with a combined score of 136 (68-68).
Paige Crawford stays in 68th with 156 (78-78), followed by Molly Dorans in 90th with 159 (80-79). Katie Michunovich is in 96th going into the final round with 160 (79-81). Melissa Hulstrand showed a 10-stroke drop on Tuesday, and jumped 18 places to 101st with 162 (86-76)
Leslie McGetrick is playing as an individual and sits in 47th overall after 36 holes, with 153 (76-77).
Colorado State took the lead after day two with a combined score of 584 (292-292). Iowa, the leader after the opening round, is now in second place with 590 (289-301).
The final round of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic begins tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11, with the first group teeing off at 6:30 a.m.
