Bengals top MSU in conference showdown
Idaho State won four of the six singles matches to beat Montana State 4-3 in men's tennis action in Pocatello on Friday.
Diego Campos led the Bobcats, earning a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (6-5) come-from-behind win over Dan Buckingham at no. four singles and teaming with Javier Martin-Morillas on an 8-4 doubles win. Niklas Brandes was the only other Bobcat to earn a singles win, topping ISU's Charles Norman at the no. one singles spot. Alberto Fuentes and Lander Jewett teamed to earn the win at no. one singles.
The loss drops MSU to 7-8 overall, 2-1 in Big Sky play. The Bobcats visit Weber State on Saturday.
